‘Hampton House’ is a new build, residential care home, providing 24 hour support for adults with a learning difficulty who may also have a physical disability. The home is registered with the Care Quality Commission and offers high quality accommodation and support tailored to meet the individual requirements. 

The accommodation comprises of two five bedroom suites as well as two studio rooms.

The home has a number of off-street parking spaces has its own adapted vehicle to enable service-user transport to community based facilities. The home has a call system fitted through-out the building to enable staff and service-users to maximise the responsiveness of the support available. 

The home is close to excellent bus and road transport routes and is just two miles from Huddersfield town centre. Nearby, there are excellent facilities such as riding stables for the disabled, a hydro-therapy pool, bowling and restaurants/cafes with disabled access. There is a post office, health centre, pharmacy, places of worship and many other opportunities to suit different tastes. 

Staffing levels, in line with Care Quality Commission requirements, allow for a dedicated baseline staffing of six staff on duty during the day with three staff on duty at night. The staffing allows for a full-time Manager, a Deputy Manager and a number of care/support staff as well as a dedicated driver for the wheel chair accessible vehicle which is available to allow for community based activities to be accessed. 

All staff are police checked before working with service-users and all follow a rigorous selection process. In addition, all staff undergo training before working with service-users in line with the requirements of the Learning Disability Award Framework.
