CARERS

Are you kind, compassionate and genuinely enthusiastic about the care and wellbeing of others?

We regularly recruit for Support Worker roles in all of our homes. These can be: part-time or full-time, working day shift or night shift, as well as casual workers who require greater flexibility in their working hours.

We are always on the look out for people who have a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives; have the energy to contribute to a stimulating and varied environment, and are passionate about supporting the people who reside at the home to live as independently as possible.

Working hours are generally based on 12 hour shifts from 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am. A full-time role is 36 hours per week over 3 days. Although previous experience is preferred, it is absolutely not essential, as full training will be provided for the candidates who can demonstrate the right values and attributes that we are seeking in our staff. All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Successful candidates would be expected to support the people who live at the home with all aspects of their daily living which could include:

  • personal care,
  • activities within the house and in the community,
  • daily living skills,
  • promoting independence.

What we can offer you:

  • A supportive understanding management team
  • Regular supervision
  • Excellent, free training and one to one mentoring
  • Access to our Wellbeing Service (EAP)
  • Health Benefits scheme (qualifying period applies)
  • Fantastic career development opportunities
  • An opportunity to work for a committed company who really cares about staff and the people we support

The current rate of pay for a Support Worker is £11.92 per hour, payable on a monthly basis.
