Horizon Healthcare Homes Ltd was started in 2006 by husband and wife team, Roger and Shona Williams.
Their aim was simple, and yet complex, a desire to build and run the best possible residential care facilities for adults with both learning difficulties and physical disabilities across the North of England.
The first home, Langley Lodge, opened in 2007. It was followed by Hampton House in 2009, Cranmer Court in 2010, Ferndale Lodge in 2011, Beckside Lodge in 2013, Windsor Court 2017 and Fixby Lodge 2017.
Today there are nine Horizon Healthcare Homes in Leeds, Bradford, Dewsbury and Huddersfield following the opening of our two new sites Roxburgh Lodge in February 2021 and Sandhurst Court in April 2021.
Thanks to the complete obsession of the founders with attention to detail, and with having the most cutting edge services and facilities, coupled with a unique home-from-home atmosphere and environment, Horizon Healthcare Homes are now at the forefront of this industry, and plan to continue development and growth to service as many vulnerable adults with complex needs as possible.
